Do not try and recover the files by putting the card or USB Key into another device or connecting it to a computer. This may result in permanent data loss by overwriting or corruption.
In the case of physically broken cards or USB Keys, do not try and mend them. There is a major risk of further corruption from static electricity to the internal components, which will more than likely result in permanent data loss.
What to do
■ Stop using the card or USB key.
■ If it is a Memory Card, remove it from the Camera or PDA.
■ Complete and print the online Service Form. Please ensure that it is signed.
■ Securely package the card or USB Key and completed Service Form. A padded envelope
What happens next
As soon as your card or USB Key is received, it will be placed with a technician for free evaluation. As soon as the evaluation is complete, you will be informed of the results.
If you wish the data recovery to go ahead, you will be advised to pay either via our Secure Online Payment Facility or by cheque if you prefer.
As soon as payment has been received, the data will be recovered and returned to you on the media of your choice, as indicated by you on the Service Form.
